Drafting notes (do not publish)
UK — Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, reg 6. A provider of an "information society service" must make the following "easily, directly and permanently accessible": its name; geographic address of establishment; contact details including email; trade register and registration number; supervisory authority, if authorised; professional body/title/rules, if it is a regulated profession; and VAT number, if any. Prices, if shown, must say whether they include tax. Checked against legislation.gov.uk.
EU — Directive 2000/31/EC (e-Commerce Directive), Art 5. Same list, applied through national law. Some Member States require more; for example, Germany's Digital Services Act implementing law (DDG s 5, the former TMG "Impressum") requires a full legal notice, including authorised representatives, for services targeting Germany. Checked against EUR-Lex for Art 5. [to confirm — national details on legal advice, especially for Germany]
Applicability. Strictly, reg 6 and Art 5 bind providers established in the UK or EU. Kellridge is established in Australia, so they may not bind it directly. Publishing the information is still low-cost, meets the "highest standard" aim and builds trust with UK/EU buyers. [to confirm on legal advice]
EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065). The DSA applies to intermediary services (mere conduit, caching, hosting, platforms). A static firm website with no user-generated content is not an intermediary service, so DSA obligations (points of contact, legal representative, terms of service duties) are unlikely to apply. Re-check if the site adds comments, uploads, a client portal or SaaS. [to confirm on legal advice]
Australia. Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) s 153 requires the company name and ACN (or ABN where it includes the ACN) on public documents. They appear in the footer and on this page. [to confirm on legal advice that this applies to the website]
